Its A6 trifold construction combines an interior cord system with Imperfect Concepts' signature grommet system, allowing notebooks, inserts, and accessories to be arranged in a way that reflects how you naturally write, plan, sketch, and collect. Whether you keep an ink journal alongside your commonplace book or simply enjoy refining your setup over time, the Juniper adapts without asking you to commit to a single system.

Each cover is handcrafted in small batches by Alexander Jay at the Imperfect Concepts atelier in Los Angeles using Italian vachetta leather imported from Florence. Every detail is completed with intention, including the installation of the signature grommet system, which is set by hand as part of the meticulous construction process. Available through a carefully selected group of retailers worldwide, each piece reflects a deliberate approach to craftsmanship where thoughtful design and enduring quality take precedence over mass production.

Italian vachetta leather rewards years of use. Vegetable tanned and finished on both sides, it gradually softens in the hand, deepens in color, and develops a rich patina unique to its owner. Select finishes are further elevated with Alex's hand-painted details, transforming each cover into an individual work of craftsmanship. Every cover is individually stamped with the Stationery Universe mark on the inside of the back cover.
