Eastern Bluebirds have a way of brightening a landscape the moment they appear. Their clear color, gentle presence, and soft calls give them a quiet kind of cheerfulness that feels symbolic of spring itself. On this card, two bluebirds perch together on a juniper branch, one offering a berry to the other in a small moment of shared abundance.

For me, bluebirds are joy incarnate. One of my favorite memories is spotting one while hiking with my son when he was about four years old. For the rest of the walk, he eagerly searched the trees, calling out, “Bluebirds! Where are you, bluebirds?” That mix of wonder, curiosity, and delight is exactly what I still feel whenever I see one.
