One of the pleasures of Italian vachetta leather is that it refuses to remain unchanged. Vegetable tanned and finished on both sides, it gradually softens with use, deepens in color, and develops a rich patina that belongs not to the maker, but to its owner. Every cover is individually stamped with the Stationery Universe mark on the inside of the back cover.
