A Baltimore Oriole, perched atop an uncapped Nakaya Arai Shu, shows off its bright orange and black plumage on this vinyl decal created in collaboration with Angela He of Inky Converters.

That vivid orange calls to mind the slices we set out to attract them to our feeders, and here the feathers sit in easy harmony with the rich urushi of the pen beneath it. With the cap removed to reveal the platinum nib, heart-shaped breather hole and all, it feels like a small celebration of spring, where feathered friends and fine writing meet in full color.
