Yamamoto RO-BIKI Notebook - Hanezu - Texture Series

Hanezu explores the relationship between color, texture, and time through the layered surfaces of the RO-BIKI NOTE Texture Series.

Named for a soft, warm shade of scarlet, Hanezu draws from a traditional color long associated with elegance and transience in Japanese culture. Related hues appear throughout classical literature and poetry, where their tendency to fade became a symbol of impermanence and shifting emotions. 

The Texture Series brings added depth to the cover through embossed patterning and carefully controlled coloration beneath the signature wax finish. As light moves across the surface, subtle shifts in texture and transparency become part of the experience.

With time and use, the waxed paper develops fine creases and richer tonal variation, allowing the notebook to continue changing alongside the pages inside.

Inside are 60 pages of plain Solist paper selected for its versatility and satisfying writing experience across pencils, ballpoints, fountain pens, and dip pens. Thread-bound construction allows the notebook to open fully and remain durable through years of use.
